An original contemporary sculptural artwork by Seattle artist Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
WOMEN UNITE uses the female form to symbolize solidarity, strength and freedom through the lens of the artist's Iranian and Persian identity.
The work. The sculpture brings visibility to Iranian women confronting state-enforced restrictions, translating that struggle into a contemporary sculptural language centered on unity, presence and resistance.
The form. A resin-cast female figure is developed through acrylics, spray paint and a hand-finished high-gloss automotive-grade epoxy coat. The polished surface gives the figure a strong visual presence while preserving the directness of the human form.
The meaning. WOMEN UNITE is about collective strength. The figure is not intended as a portrait of one individual, but as a symbol of women standing together against restriction and asserting autonomy, dignity and freedom.
