The book covers the full body of work: modern pop art forms in high-gloss resin, 3D wall art, the kinetic Renaissance 2.0 series, the Luxe Love Bag collection, smart mannequins and interactive pieces, memento mori work, and functional illuminated sculpture. Arian Lori-Amini trained as a computer scientist and spent years driving technical delivery at Microsoft across Xbox, Office and Surface before moving into fine art full time. He is the sole maker of every piece. Each work is hand-designed and 3D modeled, printed at high resolution in resin or multi-color filament, laser cut and engraved, cast in precision molds, hand-painted, then finished in the glass-like resin surface that has become the studio's signature. The most recent work integrates LED and neon lighting, robotics, sound reactivity and projection mapping, so that a sculpture responds to the room it occupies.
The work in this monograph has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami across a three thousand square foot presentation, in a solo exhibition in Central Park in New York, at New York Fashion Week, at Miami Swim Week, at Bumbershoot with the Cannonball Arts Museum in Seattle, and at the International Art, Fashion and Music Festival in Ecuador. Collectors include Steve Aoki, who commissioned a series of fifty-seven sculptures with proceeds directed toward Alzheimer's research, alongside the electronic artists Boris Brejcha and BlackHertz and private collections in Germany, Australia and the United States.
