The LUXE LOVE BAG Collection — HYPNOTIQ's 2026 Signature Pop Art Sculpture Series

Updated: 8 hours ago

Some sculptures sit in a room. The LUXE LOVE BAG sculptures change it. HYPNOTIQ's signature 2026 series is a four-piece love letter to pop art, luxury fashion, and the strange alchemy that happens when you push them together. Balloon-letter LOVE rising in defiance of gravity from sculpted designer shopping bags, hand-cast in high-gloss resin, finished one piece at a time in the Pacific Northwest studio of Arian Lori-Amini.

Pop Art Meets Luxury Culture

Pop art has always been about taking the cultural objects we recognize most and turning them into icons. Warhol did it with soup cans. Koons did it with balloon dogs. KAWS did it with companion figures. HYPNOTIQ does it with the shopping bag — the single object that quietly tells a guest, a date, a stranger on the street that you exist in a particular world. The LUXE LOVE BAG series elevates that recognition into sculpture. The bag itself becomes the plinth. The word LOVE — rendered in a custom three-dimensional balloon-letter font — becomes the focal point.

What makes the series work is the tension between the two source materials. The shopping bag is the most disposable object in the luxury world — cardboard, monogram, lifespan measured in days. The balloon letter is the most ephemeral object in pop culture — latex, helium, lifespan measured in hours. HYPNOTIQ takes both of those throwaway forms and translates them into permanent, hand-cast, high-gloss sculpture. The disposable becomes the eternal. The object you would throw out becomes the object you build a foyer around. That move — turning the temporary into the collector-grade — is the whole pop art tradition in a single gesture.

The Genesis of the Series

Arian Lori-Amini built the first LUXE LOVE BAG prototype in the studio late at night after a 2025 trip through New York Fashion Week. The proposition was simple: take the four most recognizable luxury fashion houses in the western collector imagination — Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Gucci — and translate each into a balloon-letter LOVE sculpture that captures the visual language of the house. Gold for LV. Black for YSL. Royal purple for Chanel. Candy red for Gucci. Four pieces, four palettes, one coherent collection. The first piece took six weeks to finish. The fourth took three. Each piece is one of one. The four together read as a single curated statement when shown as a set.

No. 1 of 4 — LOUIS VUITTON LUXE LOVE BAG

Twenty-four-karat-style gold balloon letters ascend from a lacquered jet-black bag finished in a faithful Louis Vuitton monogram pattern. The LV piece is the most opulent sculpture in the series. The gold catches every light in the room and refuses to let it go. It is the version of LOVE that doesn't whisper — it announces. The bag itself is hand-sculpted to capture the recognizable silhouette and proportions of the LV shopping bag, monogram pattern hand-applied across every visible surface and sealed under an automotive-grade gloss resin finish. Designed for primary residences, penthouse foyers, collector hallways, and the kind of spaces where every object has a reason for being there. Approximately seventeen inches tall, hand-finished in high-gloss resin, available for private acquisition.

No. 2 of 4 — SAINT LAURENT LUXE LOVE BAG

Jet-black gloss balloon letters rising from a sculptural matte-white YSL shopping bag with bronzed monogram hardware. The Saint Laurent piece is the most disciplined sculpture in the series — the most architectural, the most restrained. It reads the way the Saint Laurent brand itself reads: confident, minimal, unmistakable. Black on white is the calligrapher's stance, the gallery curator's choice, the piece that holds a room without raising its voice. The bronzed YSL monogram hardware on the bag base is the only metallic accent, which only sharpens the contrast between the white bag and the black letters. Reserved for the penthouse collection. Approximately seventeen inches tall, high-gloss resin, hand-applied bronze hardware.

No. 3 of 4 — CHANEL LUXE LOVE BAG

Royal purple balloon letters, rich and saturated, rising from a chrome-mirror Chanel shopping bag. The Chanel piece is the kineticist's favorite. The chrome base catches and refracts the room around it, so the sculpture is never the same color twice. Morning sun turns it silver. Evening lamplight turns it rose. Walk past it and the reflections shift with you. Purple was chosen deliberately — it is the rarest pigment in classical art history (Tyrian purple cost more than gold by weight in the ancient world) and the most coded color in luxury fashion. The Chanel logo is hand-applied in matte black across the chrome surface, creating an intentional contrast between the high-shine base and the absolute matte mark. Approximately seventeen inches tall, mirror-chrome finish, high-gloss resin letters.

No. 4 of 4 — GUCCI LUXE LOVE BAG

Candy-red balloon letters — vivid, electric, alive — rising from a gold-and-green Gucci shopping bag base. The Gucci piece is the showstopper of the series. It is the version of LOVE that walks into a room and changes the temperature. High energy, high art, high saturation. This is the piece that ends up in the photograph at every dinner party, the piece that guests remember the name of, the piece that makes the rest of the room work harder to keep up. The signature gold-and-green stripes on the bag base are hand-painted with the precise color values of the Gucci house identity, then sealed under high-gloss resin. The candy-red letter color is custom-mixed in the studio and applied in layered coats so the saturation reads as deep instead of flat. Approximately seventeen inches tall, fully hand-finished, available for acquisition.

The Studio Process — How Each Piece Is Made

Each LUXE LOVE BAG sculpture starts as a hand-built structural core. The bag base is sculpted by hand to reproduce the silhouette of the relevant fashion-house shopping bag. The balloon LOVE letters are sculpted as a single floating element with a hidden internal support engineered to read as though the letters are levitating. From there the piece moves through multiple finishing passes — fine sanding to automotive smoothness, hand-applied color layering, monogram or logo detail hand-painted on the bag surface, hardware accents applied by hand, and a final automotive-grade gloss resin seal that gives the surface its mirror finish and lasting durability. Total finishing time per piece is six to ten weeks. The studio signs each piece on the underbase with the HYPNOTIQ mark and the year of completion.

Where the Series Sits in the Pop Art Sculpture Market

Serious pop art sculpture collectors building positions in 2026 are tracking the same comparable set. KAWS open-edition companion figures range from three hundred to five thousand dollars. Mr Brainwash silkscreens and small sculpture range from one thousand to twenty-five thousand. Murakami flowers and small figures range from five hundred to fifteen thousand. The LUXE LOVE BAG series sits as a one-of-one studio counterpart in this conversation — four pieces, four palettes, hand-finished production, studio signature behind each. Acquisition is direct from the studio rather than secondary-market, a structural advantage — the piece arrives with original provenance documentation, a Certificate of Authenticity, and a direct line to the artist for any future questions about display, care, or insurance valuation.

Who Collects This Series

The LUXE LOVE BAG sculptures have found homes in penthouses, primary residences, boutique hotel lobbies, fashion-industry offices, designer-toy collector cabinets, and the kind of private spaces where the people who pay attention to brand semiotics also pay attention to art. They sit alongside KAWS companions, Murakami flowers, Brainwash silkscreens, and one-of-one studio pieces from other emerging contemporary sculptors. A complete four-piece set anchors a wall of its own and reads as a cohesive curated story — four pieces aligned, four fashion houses represented, the unity of the balloon-letter motif holding them together. Individual pieces work equally well as standalone statements. A single LV gold piece on a black plinth in a foyer says everything a collector needs it to say without speaking a word.

Display & Long-Term Care

The LUXE LOVE BAG pieces are designed for indoor display on plinths, console tables, mantels, custom shelving, or dedicated art-niches. Each piece's high-gloss resin finish is durable and low-maintenance — dust with a soft microfiber cloth as part of normal household cleaning. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight (which can soften certain resin compositions over decades) and keep the piece away from extreme humidity. The studio recommends placing the piece where it gets directional lighting — a single picture light, a track-lit shelf, or natural side-light from a window — because the gloss surface and metallic accents perform best when there is a single light source to react to. Wall-anchor backing plates and custom plinths are available on request for collectors who want a dedicated installation.

Custom Commissions

The original four-piece collection has set the visual language for the LUXE LOVE BAG series, but the studio is open to custom commissions. Collectors have asked about alternative palettes (rose gold balloon letters on a custom Hermes-style bag base; chrome silver letters on a Prada-coded base), larger-scale versions (the studio has produced twenty-four-inch and thirty-inch variations on commission), and themed pairings (paired pieces for matched living and dining rooms). Commission lead time is typically eight to twelve weeks from agreement to delivery, depending on scale and custom palette complexity. All commissions arrive with the same hand-finished craft, same studio signature, and same Certificate of Authenticity as the original four-piece series.

Private Acquisition Inquiry

The LUXE LOVE BAG Collection is available for private acquisition by direct inquiry to HYPNOTIQ. Each piece is one of one, hand-finished, signed and dated by Arian Lori-Amini, and delivered with provenance documentation, a Certificate of Authenticity, and white-glove insured shipping. Pricing is shared on request. To begin a conversation, write to info@hypnotiqxperience.com with the piece (or full four-piece set) you are interested in, your preferred timeline, and any specific installation context. The studio responds personally within one business day. Custom commission inquiries are welcomed in the same email thread. The LUXE LOVE BAG series is the studio's most-discussed 2026 release — four-piece sets do not sit available for long.
