An original contemporary artwork by Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
DOUBLE HEART II is the second work in the double heart series: a standalone torso sculpture carrying the same heart centred concept as its companion, with its own distinct finish and character.
The work. Created in 2022, the piece exists because the idea invited a second attempt rather than being abandoned after one attempt. Working a concept twice, with a different surface treatment each time, is how a motif becomes a series instead of a one off, and it lets the second version take risks the first could not.
The form. A full torso with the heart motif repeated across the body, hand painted rather than transferred, so the placement and edge quality differ from the companion piece. Shown as a pair the two create a dialogue about love, duality and the body as a site of emotion; shown alone this one stands completely on its own terms.
Materials and craft. Full mannequin torso with a resin coat, acrylics, spray paint, epoxy and hand painted heart detailing under an automotive grade high gloss finish.
For the collector. Suited to a bedroom, dressing room, boutique, lounge or private gallery. It appeals to collectors of figurative pop sculpture and to anyone building a pair or a series rather than buying single objects.
