ELECTRIC BLOOM: LOVE | Silver Lotus & Blue Plexiglas Sculpture

An original contemporary sculptural artwork by Seattle artist Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
ELECTRIC BLOOM: LOVE pairs a sculpted silver lotus with vivid blue Plexiglas carrying a subtle hint of purple. Heated, folded and molded by hand, the acrylic becomes a leaning, self-standing sculpture, with the bloom rising above its upper edge and custom sculpted LOVE lettering anchoring the composition below.
The piece brings organic softness into conversation with architectural precision. Layered lotus petals open outward against the clean acrylic plane, while the folded base holds the composition in a poised, backward lean. The support is part of the artwork itself: a single sheet transformed by hand into both structure and surface.
The lotus and LOVE lettering are digitally sculpted by the artist and 3D printed in Silver Silk Plus PLA filament. Its directional sheen catches light across the petals and raised letterforms, moving between soft silver and brighter metallic highlights. Fine printing textures remain visible, giving the surfaces a tactile character that contrasts with the smooth, reflective Plexiglas.
Blue is the dominant color, with violet undertones that become more apparent as light and viewing angle change. The result is a compact sculpture with a strong visual presence, balancing an electric field of color with the quieter shimmer of silver.
The acrylic form begins as a sheet approximately 5.25 by 12 inches, then is heated and folded into its final geometry. Small variations in the hand-forming process give each piece its own character.
