DUCATI | Neon Glow Smart Mannequin Sculpture | HYPNOTIQ

An original contemporary artwork by Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
DUCATI is the most personal work in the HYPNOTIQ catalogue. When the artist sold his Ducati motorcycle to fund his art career, the energy of that decision went directly into this piece.
The work. Created in 2022, the sculpture is part object, part interactive display and part origin story. It marks the moment a maker traded one kind of speed for another, and it carries that autobiography openly rather than burying it in an artist statement.
The experience. The piece is built for two lighting conditions. In daylight it reads as a saturated painted sculpture. With the lights off, the UV and glow in the dark paint ignites and the work becomes its own light source. An integrated Samsung Wi-Fi touchscreen tablet is built into the base, adding a live digital element to a physical object.
Materials and craft. Full torso mannequin, UV neon glow in the dark paint, integrated Samsung Wi-Fi tablet, LED black lighting, resin finish, spray paint, acrylics and an epoxy seal. Freestanding.
For the collector. Suited to collectors working at the intersection of automotive culture, contemporary art and experiential technology, and to spaces that can go dark: a lounge, a home theatre, a studio, a showroom or a hospitality interior.
The gallery shows the work in more than one configuration: some photographs present the half body, others the full standing figure. Both are the same sculpture.
