LION STATEMENT TOTE | 3D Printed Sculptural Handbag | HYPNOTIQ

An original contemporary artwork by Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
The LION STATEMENT TOTE is a handbag built the way a sculpture is built. The body sweeps in long organic curves that read as fluid motion frozen in place, and a dimensional gold lion head projects from the side, breaking the smooth black surface with something ornamental and heraldic.
The work. Fashion accessories are usually engineered around function and then styled. This one is modelled as form first, with the carrying function fitted into a shape that was designed to be looked at. The lion is the second argument: a symbol of authority set against a silhouette that is all softness and movement.
The form. Architectural lines in a glossy black finish, with a sweeping profile that changes substantially depending on the angle. The top handles are integrated into the body rather than attached to it, so the object reads as one continuous piece. HYPNO branding is embossed into the surface.
Materials and finish. 3D printed in premium TPU, a flexible technical polymer, which gives the bag a lightweight, resilient and weather resistant build rather than the rigidity of a printed display object. The finish is a deep glossy black, and the lion head is rendered in gold with fine surface detail.
For the collector. Suited to evening wear and to darker, edgier streetwear styling equally, and to collectors of fashion inspired sculpture and 3D printed design. It functions as a wearable piece and as a display object on a shelf, vitrine or dressing room surface.
