LOVE BY HYPNOTIQ is a unisex luxury perfume created by the artist, extending the studio practice from the visual into the olfactory.
The work. Created in 2023, this is the studio's first work in scent, made on the premise that a complete artistic world should reach more than one sense. The formulation carries the same character as the sculptural output: bold, immersive and difficult to place in a single category.
The object. The bottle is artist designed rather than sourced, so the perfume works as a display object as well as a fragrance. It sits comfortably on a dresser, a vanity or a shelf alongside the smaller sculptures.
Provenance. Produced in limited quantity and studio released with artist provenance documentation. The artist has exhibited at Art Basel and his work is held by collectors including Steve Aoki.
