LOVE | High Gloss 3D Resin Typography Wall Sculpture | HYPNOTIQ

An original contemporary artwork by Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
LOVE renders four letters as a three dimensional object with the studio signature mirror smooth resin finish. It is simultaneously the simplest and the most direct work in the collection.
The work. Typography as sculpture has a clear lineage in modern art, and the appeal is that the piece requires no interpretation at all. What HYPNOTIQ adds is surface: where the tradition tends towards flat industrial colour, this version is glossed to a depth that pulls the room into the letterforms, so a familiar word acquires a physical presence it does not have in print.
The form. The letters are built with real depth, roughly four inches, so the piece casts genuine shadow and reads dimensionally from an angle rather than flattening into a graphic. It can be hung on a wall or stood on a shelf, and it works differently in each position.
Materials and craft. A 3D printed letterform structure finished in resin, acrylics and epoxy under a hand finished high gloss automotive grade coat. Gallery hanging hardware included.
For the collector. Intimate in a bedroom, declarative in a living room, and a statement about intent in a studio or workspace. It anchors an entryway particularly well, and it is a natural first piece for someone beginning a contemporary collection.
