MOTO GIRL WHITE is the lightest work in the Moto Girl series: a resin torso crowned with a white motorcycle helmet, set against a high gloss body.
The work. Created in 2022, the piece follows the series logic of replacing the head with a helmet, removing the face and with it any narrative the viewer might read into an expression. What is left is stance. The white helmet is the series at its most graphic, because white against gloss produces the cleanest contrast of the three colourways.
The form. The helmet sits as a single unbroken bright mass at the top of the composition, drawing the eye upward before it travels back down the torso. There is something cinematic in the result: it suggests a figure mid journey, paused rather than stopped.
Materials and craft. Resin torso with a white motorcycle helmet element, acrylics, spray paint and epoxy under a high gloss finish, on a freestanding base.
For the collector. Photographs exceptionally well and holds space without dominating it, which makes it the most placeable work in the series. Suited to an entry, a lounge, a dressing room, a boutique or a showroom.
