NEON MOTO GIRL | UV Glow Smart Mannequin Sculpture | HYPNOTIQ

An original contemporary artwork by Arian Lori-Amini, known professionally as HYPNOTIQ.
NEON MOTO GIRL is a full smart mannequin sculpture built at the intersection of motorcycle culture, femininity and consumer technology, finished in UV neon glow in the dark paint and integrated with a working Samsung S7 Wi-Fi touchscreen tablet.
The work. Created in 2022, the piece treats the mannequin, an object designed to be anonymous and disposable, as a subject deserving of sculpture. Motorcycle detailing runs through the surface, the head is helmeted and graphic, and the tablet in the chest lets the figure display live content rather than staying mute.
The experience. Under normal light the saturated violet and pink surface commands attention on its own. Under UV the glow elements ignite and the figure becomes luminous. The tablet runs video, apps and custom content on command and is remotely programmable, so the work can be changed without touching the sculpture.
Materials and craft. Full mannequin torso, UV neon glow in the dark paint, integrated Samsung S7 Wi-Fi tablet, LED black lighting elements, resin coat, acrylics, epoxy seal and motorcycle inspired detailing. Freestanding.
For the collector. Installed in boutiques, gallery shows and private residences, and in each it functions as the anchor of the room. It suits luxury retail, hospitality and collectors of experiential and technology driven contemporary sculpture.
