The HYPNOTIQ Bugs Bunny Companion gets its power from a different source entirely: cultural memory layered on top of luxury craft. The piece takes one of the most globally recognized cartoon characters of the 20th century, dresses it in chrome silver pants and a purple Nike puffer jacket, hands it a signature carrot, and mounts it on a black HYPNOTIQ-branded plinth. The Concept

The pairing references the 1996 Space Jam film — the moment Looney Tunes and basketball stardom collided in mainstream pop culture for the first time. The Jordan + Bunny installation has been shown in the studio gallery alongside foundational KAWS Companion figures, creating a visual conversation between original and homage that collectors and gallery curators have responded to.
